Lombardi, Joseph Michael ‘Joey’, of Egg Harbor Twp., went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2023. He was born October 13, 1978, in Atlantic City and grew up in Ventnor and Margate; Later residing in Egg Harbor Township and Somers Point. Joey loved surfing, fishing, and outdoor activities. He was a gifted athlete and excelled at basketball. He worked in the family’s sub shop Chubby’s. He then worked as a Painter for the remainder of his life and was known by everyone as the best Painter they knew. Being a father brought the most joy to his life. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Brown); his children, Ava and Michael, the light and love of his life; Mother, Marie Peterson and stepfather, James Peterson; His siblings, Michele Trombetta, Umberto Trombetta and Danielle Polistina (Leonard); his step-siblings, Jim Peterson, Chrissy Bryan, Kristen Broecker (Pat), Amanda Lynn Markert and Dustin Peterson; his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his Father, Michael Paul Lombardi, Sr. and brother, Michael Paul Lombardi, Jr. He was loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A gathering will be 9AM to 10:30AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Friendship Bible Church, 4004 Ocean Heights Ave., Egg Harbor Township. A service will follow at 10:30AM. Graveside service will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for the benefit of his children. Checks will be accepted at the funeral and by mailing to Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ 08201 to the attention of Joseph’s mother, Marie Peterson.
