Obituary For Kim R. Carusi

Carusi, Kim R., 64, of Galloway Township, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2024. Born in West Berlin, she grew up in Pennsauken and Medford Lakes New Jersey where she graduated from Shawnee High School. She lived in Medford Lakes, before moving to Galloway Township 30 years ago. She was employed for 30 years as a slot technician supervisor for Trump Marina, the Taj Mahal and the Hard Rock Casinos.

Kim was an artist, who loved nature. She created amazing pieces of art through her woodworking, paintings and other creative talents. She loved collecting various pieces of unique furniture, vintage items and couldn’t turn down a well-used collector item, especially tools of all shapes and sizes. Kim was happiest scooting around on her chair taking a discarded piece of wood and witling it down to something that could be displayed in a showroom.

She loved taking care of her garden and yard, her cherished cats, her family, and friends. Kim took care of anyone that loved her back.

Kim is predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Carusi. She is survived by her siblings, Gwen Immordino of Galloway, John and his wife Stacey Carusi of Cherry Hill, Lynn Carusi of Egg Harbor Township, and Dawn Carusi of Marietta OH; her beloved niece and nephew, Allison and J.D; and her lifelong friend, E. Judy Trimboli. Kim also left behind dozens of cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of Kim’s life will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Atlantic County. Online condolences, may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.

Kim was a beloved member of our family. A wonderful cousin who my sister, my wife and I always enjoyed being with. And importantly, a fantastic niece: Kim was close with my Mom, her Dad's sister. Kim kept in close touch with her throughout the final years of the life of her "Aunt Gloria." Checking in, providing updates on her siblings and inquiring as to how she was doing. Kim's caring nature, wit & humor, commonsense and conscientiousness among her many outstanding qualities. We will miss her. — Cousin John Q

We Offer the Book of Memories™

Parsels Funeral Home offers what we consider to be the finest example of online memorials, the Book of Memories™. Created by an award-winning team of web developers and designers while being led by a funeral professional with over 25 years of experience, this online memorial is intended to provide your family with a permanent place to pay tribute to your loved one.

Far more than a traditional obituary—which is usually published only once and has no interactivity at all—the Book of Memories™ Memorial Website is a fully interactive archive of treasured photographs and stories remembered from their time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

You’ll be able to invite others to visit the online memorial, where they can upload images, share stories, write heart-felt messages of condolence, send a floral tribute to the funeral, or make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one. And the built-in social media integration means they can then “spread the word” about their addition to your loved one’s Book of Memories™ using Facebook and Twitter.

We offer the families we serve a Book of Memories™ memorial website with the intention that it gives you a measure of solace and comfort during the coming months. To arrange for a Book of Memories® memorial website for your loved one, contact us today.
