Lola Mancinelli

Mancinelli, Lola, age 91, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 in her home. She was born and raised in South Philadelphia, and then lived in Ventnor before moving to Mays Landing seven years ago. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.

Lola is predeceased by her husband, Richard; son, Robert; and great-grandson, Richard. She is survived by her son, Richard (Esther); daughter-in-law, Lori; grandchildren, Richard (Jacquelyn), Jenna Comunale (Richard), Robert (Christiann), Nicholas (Yisel), and Victoria DeBenedictis (Nicholas); and great-grandchildren Olivia, Isabella, Layla, Frankie, Juliana, Gianna, Robert, and Thomas.

Lola was well-known for her legendary Sunday dinners, enjoyed with her number one love – her family. She always had the best snacks and even better toast and tea. A lover of literature, red carpet fashion and trivia, she was known to have all the right answers (though she would deliver them humbly) for Jeopardy and Cash Cab. She was a bright light for all those who knew her and will be missed terribly by many.

Visitation will be Friday May 17, 2024 from 10AM-12PM at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ. A prayer service will immediately follow at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her granddaughter’s foundation, Start Healing Together (www.starthealingtogether.com) or a charity of your choosing.
