Marilyn Conover

Conover, Marilyn B., 62, of Absecon passed away at home on Saturday October 8, 2022. Lifelong resident of Absecon, Marilyn, along with her 3 siblings, had fond memories growing up in the local schools, church, and clubs in the Absecon area. She was a 1978 graduate of Pleasantville HS and a graduate of Atlantic Community College. Immediately following high school she was hired by the FAA Technical Center (previously known as NAFEC) and was a recent retiree after having worked there for 42 years. Marilyn enjoyed going to local beach/park concerts and events, her time spent helping with the American Legion, laughing at a good joke, and chatting and keeping up with her family and friends. She will fondly be remembered for her Lancaster trips with her family and friends, her stories, and her infectious laugh. She most of all will be remembered for her heart and love for her family and friends, especially her nieces, as they have grown up through the years. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Harold "Curt" and Dorothy "Dot" Conover; and several Aunts and Uncles. She is survived by her siblings, Dale (Jill) Conover, Linda (Bob) Merlock, and Steven Conover; and her nieces and nephew. She will be missed by many close friends and will forever be remembered as "Auntie M" by her dear nieces, Jennifer Merlock and Heather (Parker) Ingersoll (nee Merlock). Visitation will be 11AM to 12PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow immediately at 12PM. Burial will follow at United Methodist Church at Absecon Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please donate in Marilyn's memory to a local organization of your choice.
