Mark S. Farkas, 62 of Dennis Twp. passed away on April 21, 2018, after a battle with small cell carcinoma. Mark was married to the love of his life, Dorcas Fillmore-Farkas. He has two Biological Sons, Dalton & Quinton “Que” Farkas, Three adopted children, Jodi Laird, Michael Farkas and Vicki Hinson, a Step-Daughter, Tammy Tozer, 6 grandchild, 3 great grandchildren, one brother, (Andy Farkas), two sisters, (Debbie & Linda), nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Veronica Elizabeth Miller-Farkas, Father, Andrew John Farkas and granddaughter, Ashley Farabaugh. Mark owned his own business, Avalon Property Maintenance. He enjoyed his relationships with his customers. Some who became his friends. He was born in Columbus, OH on April 29, 1955. He attended Milton Hershey School where he graduated in 1973. He then settled down in Latrobe, PA where he met Dorcas at the local Wash Um Laundromat. The couple moved to Harrisburg, PA where there first son, Dalton was born, then they moved to Lafayette, IN. where Quinton was born. They finally settled in South Jersey, Cape May County in March of 1995. They made a life here in South Jersey since. Mark was an avid golfer. He loved his Sunday Golf days with his friends. Well let’s be honest, he loved every day that he golfed. We will miss him greatly but find comfort in knowing he is no longer in Pain. Memorial services are still being planned and the family would ask that you hold tight while they decide what to do in this difficult time. In the words of Mark Farkas’ favorite song “OH HAPPY DAY!” “Don’t cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened!” With Love, the Family of Mark Farkas.
