Matthew J. Harper

Matthew Harper, 44, died unexpectedly, Friday, May 1, 2015. Matt was born and raised in Absecon. He was employed as a driver for UPS for many years. Matt will be remembered as one of the nicest guys in the world. His smile, laugh and sense of humor will forever be in our hearts.

Matt is survived by his loving daughter, Angelina Harper. He also leaves his mother, Peg Hemphill and stepfather Bill Hemphill, his father Harry Harper and Harry’s fiance Anne Thomas, his sister Victoria (Harper) Keenan and her husband, HJ, his beloved nieces: Maggie, Emme, and Leah, his cousins, Kim Fordham, Shannon Hawk, his Aunt Ethel Allen and cousins Rick, Patty, Teri and David. Awaiting him in heaven are his Grandmom, Pop, Aunt Mary Jane Smith and Mary Harper.

Services will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects 8:30am-10:45am. Mass will immediately follow at 11AM.
