Michael D. Wells

Michael Wells, 49, passed away suddenly at his home in Egg Harbor Twp. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Born and raised in Atlantic City, he moved to Lancaster County nearly 30 years ago. He moved back to the area only 2 months ago. Since his return, he has spent his days crabbing and fishing with his Chelsea Heights Bay Boys who meant so much to him. Anyone that knew him, knew he was happiest with a pole in his hand. Mike retired from KAPS Recon 3 months ago and has been anxiously awaiting the birth of his first grandson this November. He was also a 20 year master falconer in PA. He would dazzle thousands year after year at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.

He is predeceased by his mother, Linda Wells. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Sarah Axe, sons; Steven Axe (Caitlin) of Hawaii, David of Manheim, PA and Jennifer (Scott) Wells of Lebanon, PA; his sister Christal Monagle, nephews Corey and Nicholas Monagle of Absecon.
