Michael F. Riffle

Michael Francis Riffle, 67, of Absecon, died and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 23rd. Michael was born in Philadelphia at the Naval Hospital. He traveled and lived in many states because his father was a US Navy Chief Petty Officer. As a teenager, the family moved and settled in Absecon, NJ. Mike attended Pleasantville High school and graduated in 1971. From there he became a Master Plumber, commercial crabber, and was a member of the Saltwater Recreational Registery Program. He enjoyed spending his time on the bay fishing, crabbing and clamming. Mike was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is predeceased by his father, Lawrence E. Riffle Sr., mother, Mary Lou Riffle, brother, Brett Riffle and brother-in-law, Russ Adkisson. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence E. Riffle Jr. (Catherine) brother, Wayne Riffle, sister, Linda Adkisson, beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral private.
