Nancy J. Coderre

Coderre, Nancy Jane (Jordan), 87, of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2021, following a long illness. Born in Bridgeport, CT., she lived in Galloway for many years. Nancy worked at Bally’s, Atlantic City as a blackjack dealer before retiring. She loved being paid for playing cards. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon, where she was a eucharistic minister for many years.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Walter N. Coderre, Sr.; and her two sisters, Norma and Dolly Ann. She is survived by her four children, Deborah Debrosky (Glenn), Walter N. (Norman) Coderre, Jr. (Sharon), Gregory Coderre and Stephen Coderre; her grandchildren, Walter (Chip) Coderre, III, Lauren Coderre, Nicole Klever (Jake), Gregory Coderre, Jr. (Dee), Jordan Coderre, Conor Coderre and Brianna Coderre; her four great-grandchildren, Jacynda, Jacelyn, Quinn and Grayden; and her beloved companion and dog, Rudy.

A gathering will be 9 to 10:30AM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will be offered at 11AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. Burial will be private.
