Nena S. Moor

Moor, Nena S., 98, of Absecon, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023. Nena was born in Philadelphia on September 1,1924 to Charles and Alice Schroyer. She graduated from Girls High School and Peirce Junior College, married Joseph O. Moor in 1947 and began a life in Absecon in 1950. She worked for many years as a dental assistant for Dr. John Conover and Dr. Michael Combs Sr. and also enjoyed helping out in the church office in her later years.

Nena was predeceased by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Daly (Jim) of Pleasantville, NJ and Joanne Uccello (Paul) of Manchester, Connecticut, six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Spring Home at Galloway and Grace Hospice for their kind care.

A celebration of life will take place at The United Methodist Church at Absecon, 100 Pitney Rd, Absecon, NJ 08201 on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Gathering will be from 10:30AM to 11AM with a service beginning promptly at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Salvation Army.
