Paul Maroney

Maroney, Paul J. (Lefty) 90 passed away with his son by his side on Dec. 8, 2011. He was born in Philadelphia in 1921. He served in the Navy in the Pacific during WWII from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of the Iron workers Union Local 350 out of Atlantic City, NJ for 63 yrs. until his death. He is predeceased by his wife Ruth Adele Maroney who passed away in Feb. 1993 also his mother Marie Maroney, brother Thomas F. Maroney and sisters Dolores (Doris) McDonel and Joan Petti, He missed all his pals who hung out at the Wonder Bar and the Race Tracks.

He is survived by his Son Joseph Maroney, two nieces Sharon M. Biddle and Kimberly Emenheiser and many great nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be 7PM to 8:30PM, Monday, December 12, 2011 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon and from 9:15AM to 9:45AM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Poplar Ave. at Maple Ave., Linwood.
