Pauline Huddy

HUDDY, PAULINE ‘PAT’, 95, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2021. Pauline was born in Carbondale, PA but lived most of her life in Ventnor before retiring to Mays Landing. Pat was predeceased by her husband, Leo Huddy a World War II veteran; and her parents Petranella and Kostak Znak, a World War I veteran. She is survived by her children; Michael Huddy (Maria) of Fort Myers, FL, Leona Huddy of Las Vegas, Kathleen Simon of Mays Landing, NJ and Mary Huddy of Sunrise, FL. Pat is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Stephen Segal, Samantha Segal, Storey Hess, Nicholas Huddy and Michele DiNardo; three great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews and her companion of many years John DeBelsey. She was a member of St. James Church in Ventnor and was very active in community and civic affairs, including the Ventnor PTA and the Atlantic City Area Guidance Center for emotionally disturbed children. Her gift for creative writing of short stories and poetry contributed greatly to her respected position as publicity chairman for both organizations. Pat was employed by the Boardwalk National Bank, and after many mergers, retired after 25 years of dedicated service with Wells Fargo Bank. Pat’s family wishes to thank the staff at Egg Harbor Care Center for their dedication and care.
