Peter Engeland

Peter Engeland, 78, of Galloway, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. A retired chef and self-employed Atlantic City jitney bus owner, Peter was also an avid fisherman, bird watcher and world traveler. He is survived by his beloved companion of 15 years, Gloria B. Grossweiler, also a resident of Galloway and many adoring family members from Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Germany.

Peter, born in Strenglin, Germany, came to the United States in the 1950’s and served in the United States Army from 1959-1964, at which time he was honorable discharged. He was a great man that will be truly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ, on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 11AM to 1PM, with a service at 12:30PM.
