Richard Anthony Preuster

Richard A. Preuster, Jr. (June 18, 1963-April 6, 2017), passed away at his home suddenly at the age of 53. Rich was born in Belleville and raised in Toms River, where he graduated from High School North. He spent most of his teenage years playing ice hockey and football. He was chosen to play in the North/South All-Star Game in which he was awarded MVP. In 2014 he was inducted in to the Toms River Regional Athletic Hall of Fame. He enjoyed riding his Harley and was also an avid pool player. He was a Flooring Specialist by trade and always took great pride in his work.

Rich is survived by his loving children, Richard III, Amanda and Ryan; his grandson Caiden; his parents, Richard and Erika Preuster, Sr.; and his siblings, Karyn (fianc Chris Chavez) and Marc; and his former wife, Michele.
