Robert A. Damiani

Damiani, Robert, 62, of Absecon, NJ passed away suddenly on June 9, 2020. Robert was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, grew up in Carnegie, Pennsylvania and was a long-time resident of South Jersey. He graduated from Bishop Canevin High School in 1975. Robert was a lifelong Steelers fan and loved to go the Phillies games with his stepson, Billy. Robert enjoyed golfing, cooking and spending time with his beloved dog, Louie. Robert enjoyed a lifelong career in the hospitality industry where he traveled extensively, eventually landing in Atlantic City. He proudly served as the general manager for the Atlantic City Hilton for over 20 years. It was at the Hilton that Robert met the love of his life and fiancée, Kim Cappuccio. Robert enjoyed working in Atlantic City, but always reserved Sunday for family time. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Ilda and Francis “Frank” Damiani; and his loving brother, Mark. Robert leaves behind his fiancé, Kim; stepson, Billy; brother-in-law, Rob; brother, Phil; sister, Sharon; sister-in-law, Val; nieces, Sarah (Matt), Miranda (Micah) and Breanna; nephews, Vinnie and Mario; great-nephew, Asher; and great-niece, Aria. A Mass of Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 18th at 11:00 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Absecon. Arrangements are by Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon.
