Shultz, Robert, P., 83, of Absecon, passed away August 21, 2022, Surrounded by his family, after his courageous battle with Cancer. He was employed by the Absecon Postal Service part-time while also pumping gas and cutting grass before getting in full time and taking his father’s mail route. He retired in 1990 from the Absecon Post Office and couldn’t sit still so he started to work for the City of Absecon as Recycle Coordinator. He was a veteran with the US Navy, serving during the Cold War. His whole world was his Wife of 61 years, Eva; his Girls, Terri and Patty along with their husbands, Troy and Happy; His Grandchildren, T.J. and Taylor and her husband, Mike, and his newest addition, Logan, his Great Grandson. He was also the founding President of the Absecon Animals. He was involved in many organizations thru-out Absecon, the shade tree committee, Jaycees, the American Legion, parades and the good old Absecon carnival. One of his biggest accomplishments also was donating Blood to the American Red Cross, donating over 40 Gallons of blood, (yes, it’s gallons not pints). His goal was to donate 50 Gallons before leaving this earth. He enjoyed his Many Friends from the old neighborhood on New York Avenue to Spring Lane, The Shack AKA “Club Harold”, The Friendly Deli, and the Black Cat. He would do anything he could to help anybody in any way he could.

Bob is predeceased by His parents, Dorothy and Howard Shultz. He is survived by his Wife, Eva; Daughters, Terri Warriner (Troy), Patty Warriner (Happy); Grandchildren, TJ Warriner and Taylor Wade (Mike), Daniele Cruz (Chino), Jason Warriner (Nicole) and Wesley Warriner; and his Cousins, Patty Schell and Barbara Roddy.

Visitation will be 4PM to 5:30PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 with a service immediately following at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., in Absecon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Absecon Historical Society, PO Box 1422, Absecon, NJ 08201. Online condolences, may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.
