Ronnie V.) Martin

Martin, Ronnie (Sherry V.), 64, passed away to be with her Lord, Father above on October 29, 2012, at Atlanticare, Mainland Division. Ms. Martin was born in Orange, NJ and was a lifelong shore resident. Ronnie was co-owner of Kennedy’s Bar in Galloway, where many memories were made with all who came in contact with her. She was an avid parishioner of Lakewood Chapel in Mays Landing, where she also enjoyed her bible study. Ronnie enjoyed her weekly bowling league, boating, camping and shopping for her grandchildren.

Ronnie was an extremely devoted Christian woman, who was selfless, compassionate and a loving mother, grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Steve (Amy) Massaro, Kimberly Massaro and John (Lorie) Walsh; and her 10 grandchildren, Jesse, Kristina, Anthony, Andrew, Steven, Kierstin, Julianna, Justin, Johnny and Kourtney; her devoted mother, Lucille Connolly; her sisters, Alyce (Bob) Bishop and Debbie Herzog; her loving aunt, Antonette (Mel) Lansing; and by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

A memorial gathering will be 6PM to 8PM with a service to immediately follow at 8PM, Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronnie’s name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Through her painful battle with multiple sclerosis, there was two sets of footprints in the sand. On Monday, October 29, 2012 there was one!
