Rose I. Miller

Rose I. Miller, 98, of Galloway, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Galloway since 1957. She had worked for Atlanticare, Mainland Division for several years before her retirement. Mrs. Miller was an avid bingo player. She volunteered in the bingo hall at Our Lady Star of The Sea Church in Atlantic City. She also played at Mainland Bingo in Pleasantville. She was a former president of the Pineland Civic Organization. At home, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her delicious cheesecake and her pizzelles.

She is predeceased by her husband, George Miller and her son, Stephen Jackson. She is survived by her sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Jackson and Ronald (Alice) Miller; her sister, Agnes Verte; and her 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons.

Visitation will be 1PM to 2PM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ. A Service will follow immediately at 2PM. Burial will be at Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville, NJ. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
