Sara Bainbridge

Sara Jane Bainbridge, 91, of Absecon, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2013 at Atlanticare, Galloway Twp. She was born and grew up in Altoona, PA, living in Atlantic City before moving to Absecon in 1955. She was a cashier at Shop Rite in Absecon for 36 years before her retirement. Thereafter, she continued to work at Duncan Donuts in Absecon for 19 years, retiring in 2005. Mrs. Bainbridge was a member of Mothers against Drunk Driving. She was also an avid baseball fan, loving to watch the Philadelphia Phillie’s.

She is survived by her children, James C. (Charlotte) Bainbridge and Margaret (Curt) Schinestuhl; her grandchildren, James W. and Richard C. Bainbridge, Karen S. Gibson, Gary R. Mitchell, Diana L. Mitchell and Megan L. Schinestuhl; her great-granddaughter, Jessica Hurley and 7 other great-grandchildren; and her grandpuppies, Blaze and Dexter.
