Sarah V. Kurtz

Kurtz, Sarah V. (Hartwell), 87, of Port Republic, NJ, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. Sarah was born Oct. 8, 1929 in Absecon, NJ. She will be sadly missed by her children, William (Monica) Kurtz, Richard Kurtz, Catherine (Philip) Foreman Hetzler, Sandra (James) Kurtz Gerber, Michael (Karen) Kurtz and Mary Morey. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Charles, her son Charles Jr., her parents, John and Lena Hartwell, and her daughter-in-law, Lavana.

Sarah was a homemaker and avid Eagles fan. Her legacy to family and friends was making her old-fashioned candy toy lollipops, cooking and drinking her Crown Royal.

Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2015 from 9AM to 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Church of the Assumption, 146 S. Pitney Rd., Galloway. The funeral mass will be offered at 11AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Seashore Gardens, 22 W. Jimmie Leeds Rd., Galloway, NJ 08205. She loved all her friends at Seashore Gardens.
