Scott Stephen Bernheisel

Scott Stephen Bernheisel, 40, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away May 28, 2015. Born in Somers Point, He lived in Galloway before moving to Philadelphia 4 years ago. Scott was a 1992 graduate of Absegami High School, in Galloway. He worked as a dealer at Resorts and Caesar’s Casinos in Atlantic City and lastly at Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia. He also was a real-estate agent, working with ReMax in Mays Landing. His hobbies included hiking and skiing. He also was an avid baseball and football fan.

He is survived by his parents, Robert J. and Maryann (nee Doviak) Bernheisel; his sister and brother, Tracy Sharpe and Robert J. Bernheisel; his niece and nephew, Nicole and Patrick Sharpe; his aunt, Ceil Bernheisel; his uncle and Godfather, Jerome Doviak; his cousins, Terry Quinn, Carol Jesse, Heidi Cosper, Gretchen Wilkes, Mark Sutton and Cheryl Finn; and his second cousins, Marge Seifter and George Kurtz.

A memorial gathering will be10:15AM to 10:45AM, Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered at the church at 11AM. Burial will be private.
