Sean Paul Romero, 44, of Absecon, died on December 3, 2021, peacefully, with his former wife, Brittany, by his side. He was born September 2, 1977, in New York City, as the son of Americo and Carmen Romero. He graduated from St. Agnes Boys High School in 1995 and studied at Thomas Edison State University. Sean was a KC-10 Flight Engineer. He was responsible for being the subject matter expert on the various aircraft systems which include, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics, and flight controls. He was directly responsible for working closely with the pilots and boom operator to ensure mission completion and safety of the flights.
Sean enjoyed aviation and sports cars, and was an avid Mets fan. He was also a dedicated and loving father, who cherished all the joys of fatherhood. He was a man of God and was studying to become a pastor. His commitment to help others in his faith inspired him to become a personal coach and to create Faithfully Lead. Sean is predeceased by his mother, Carmen Gloria (Rivera) Romero. He is survived by his father, Americo Romero, Las Vegas, N.V.; his former wife, Brittany; daughters, Emma, Chloe, and Stella; sons, Jared and Kameron, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; siblings, Jose Rivera and Denise Rivera, New York City, N.Y., Elaine (Rivera) Gavigan, Long Beach, N.Y., Veronica (Jimenez) LeClair, Queens, N.Y., Efrain “Bobby” Jimenez, Tenn., and Jennifer Romero, Las Vegas, N.V. The visitation will be 4PM to 7PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon. There will also be a viewing from 10AM to 11AM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The service conducted by Pastor Sam Sharaf will be 11AM, followed by the procession to the Atlantic County Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
