Andreatos, Spiros, 76, of Absecon, passed away April 6, 2018. Born in Kastro, Kefallonia, Greece, he immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, as an earthquake refugee. He worked for NJ Packaging Corporation of America in Fairfield, NJ for 25 years as a printing pressman, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Twp. Spiros loved spending time with his wife and family, especially his “three little Kouklas” his granddaughters, and his friends. He loved the beach, being outdoors, playing his guitar, listening, singing and dancing to Greek music, and watching CNN. He also enjoyed socializing with his neighbors, and talking to everyone about being Greek. Recently he enjoyed taking his grandpuppy Penelope for walks. He always said ‘safety first’ and lived by the 7 Habits. Spiros was a proud American Citizen.
He was predeceased by his parents, Angelos and Angeliki Andreatos. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beverly (Spinella) Andreatos; his children, Angelo Andreatos and Angeliki Andreatos-Hughes (Brian Hughes); his granddaughters, Alexandra, Olivia and Cassandra Hughes; his brothers and sister, Dimitri Andreatos, George Andreatos, Christos Andreatos and Joya Parameritis; as well as his aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, both in Greece and America.
A memorial gathering will be 4PM to 5:30PM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral service will be conducted at 5:30PM. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
