Miller, Stanley J. 74, of Absecon and formerly of Pleasantville, passed away January 3, 2025. Stanley was a graduate of St. Peter’s Grammar School in Pleasantville and Holy Spirit High School, Class of 1968. Stanley was a Jack of all Trades but his favorite job was being a limo driver when Resorts Casino and Hotel opened their doors. He drove many of the superstars, such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Tony Bennett, who shared a pizza with Stan, Cher, Donna Summer and Joan Rivers, who even mentioned Stan on the Johnny Carson Show. That’s just to name a few. Stan Loved cars, motorcycles and exploring the Pinelands with his cousin David.

Stan was predeceased by his father and mother, Stanley and Ann Miller; and his brother-in-law, Chris Spissinger. He is survived by his sister, Mary Spissinger; his cousins, David Kolster and Barbara & Barry O’Brien; he is also survived by his best friend, Jerry Guld.

A gathering will be 11AM to 12:30PM on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow at 12:30PM. Stan’s sister would like to send her sincere thanks and appreciation to the 3rd floor staff at Health Center at Galloway, especially to Lori, Raquel and Dr. Dasondi.
