Stella Popielarski

Stella Popielarski, 97, passed away April 12, 2016 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Pomona. Stella was born in Cambridge, NJ, and grew up in Philadelphia. She married and raised her family in Philadelphia, with her late husband, Sylvester. Eventually she moved to Atlantic County, NJ where she lived many years, lastly in Galloway, where she was a long time resident of Seashore Gardens in Galloway Twp. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Absecon. Stella was an artist and enjoyed working with water colors, acrylics, oils and pencils. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother and great-grandmother and the time she spent with them was very special to her. Loving lifetime memories were created for all.

She is predeceased by her husband, Sylvester Popielarski. She is survived by her two children, Patricia (Gerry) Hutnick and Joseph (Nancy) Popielarski; her four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Michele) Hutnick, Michelle (Robert) Curley and Kyle and Justin Popielarski; and her three great-grandchildren, Christopher Hutnick, Jacob and Mackenzie Curley.

Visitation will be 11AM to 11:45AM Monday, April 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12PM. Burial will take place at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Seashore Gardens Living Center, 22 W.
