Susie Mae Rae

Susie Mae Rae, a lifelong resident of Absecon, passed away at her daughter’s home, Saturday, February 15, 2014. Mrs. Rae worked with New Jersey Bell, in the early 1940’s. She worked in the advertising department and assisted with illustrating the yellow pages. She enjoyed working around her home. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors and gardening and especially loved animals. She was also a talented artist, creating many paintings for her family members.

She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Rae, Jr. She is survived by her children, Arthur Rae III, Donna Rae Bradley, Bobby (Kimberly) Rae; her grandchildren, Mark (Jessica) Rae, Arthur Rae IV, Bobby Bradley Jr., Billy Bradley, Jimmy (Savana) Bradley Sr., Chad Carroll, Fawn Rae and Robby Rae; her great-grandchildren, Jenny Lynn Rae, Dillan, Ryan and Brooke Bradley and Jimmy Bradley, Jr; and her former son-in-law, Robert Bradley Sr.

A graveside service will be 11AM, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Absecon Presbyterian Cemetery, 208 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. The family requests donations be made to the Atlantic County Humane Society, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Parsels Funeral Home Absecon is handling arrangements.
