Obituary For Tamara Lynne Peters

Peters, Tamara Lynne (Tami), 51, went to Our Lord 11/10/21 after a lengthy illness, with her loving family by her side at the Atlanticare, Mainland Division. She graduated from Ocean City High School Class of 1988 and later worked, for over 20 years, at Harrah's/Caesar's Casino. Tami started as a Front Desk Clerk who then worked her way up to the Corporate Level in Human Resources/Employee Training and Relations before moving on to other Supervisory Positions. Tami truly had a heart of gold, an infectious smile, a wonderful personality and always put her family, friends and employees before herself. She was a loving and caring daughter and a friend to many. Tami was a “Jersey Girl” who had a zest for life and most especially enjoyed being on the beach, and under the sun, with her family and friends. Tami is survived by her parents, Donna Komorowski (Jack), Lee Peters (Jan), brother, Joshua Peters, step-siblings, Greg Spivak, Michael Spivak, Mandy DeBurro, Erika Soong, Merri Spivak, her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and her beloved pet, Bella. Lastly, Tami is survived by her loving partner Scott Nell, and his children, Leah, Mariah and Gabriel who she adored, as well as his parents Ted and Jean Nell. All who knew Tami, loved Tami and she will be missed immensely. Heaven gained another Angel.

After many years, we saw Tami this past summer on the Cape. She was so sweet and that dynamic personality just made us feel so happy to be with her. Such a beautiful person taken too soon. Rest In Peace Tami! I know many hearts are hurting but you have left an indelible mark on this world that will be cherished forever. God bless you and keep you. ❤️🙏

At the end of September, Tami sent me a photo of a T-shirt that said "I used to be a people person, but people ruined that for me." It was a tongue-in-cheek nod to the industry in which we worked. One thing is for sure, Tami was always a people person. I am blessed to have existed in the same time and space as Tami and to have had the honor of calling her a friend. She is and will always be greatly missed. Rest well, my friend. -Kevin

Donna and family: My heart feels so heavy. Words cannot begin to express how sad I am for you. The legacy of Tami is eternal. She will live on in the hearts of the many lives she touched. The light of the world just grew dimmer with this loss. Sincerely, Joy Antolini

We Offer the Book of Memories™

Parsels Funeral Home offers what we consider to be the finest example of online memorials, the Book of Memories™. Created by an award-winning team of web developers and designers while being led by a funeral professional with over 25 years of experience, this online memorial is intended to provide your family with a permanent place to pay tribute to your loved one.

Far more than a traditional obituary—which is usually published only once and has no interactivity at all—the Book of Memories™ Memorial Website is a fully interactive archive of treasured photographs and stories remembered from their time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

You’ll be able to invite others to visit the online memorial, where they can upload images, share stories, write heart-felt messages of condolence, send a floral tribute to the funeral, or make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one. And the built-in social media integration means they can then “spread the word” about their addition to your loved one’s Book of Memories™ using Facebook and Twitter.

We offer the families we serve a Book of Memories™ memorial website with the intention that it gives you a measure of solace and comfort during the coming months. To arrange for a Book of Memories® memorial website for your loved one, contact us today.
