Thelma V. Brown (Nee Wyatt), 78, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Royal Suites, Galloway Twp. Born in Plant City, Fl, she lived in Williamstown for 7 years. Previously, she was a resident of Spring Hill, FL for 10 years and Pleasantville for over 30 years. She worked as a waitress at Zaberer’s, Egg Harbor Township, Seaview Marriott, Galloway and Bally’s Casino, Atlantic City before retiring in 1992. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing and painting and dressing porcelain dolls.
She is predeceased by her husband, Allen Brown (former captain with Pleasantville Police Department); her daughter, Connie Lee Hope Gras; and her brothers, Curtis B. and Preston H. Wyatt. She is survived by her grandchildren, Charles A. Gras, Victoria Gras and Scott Gras; her sisters, Gwen M. Smith and Barbara L. Kachnic and her 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10AM to 12PM, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, NJ. A service will follow immediately at 12PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.
