Thomas A. Deritis

Thomas (Tommy) A. DeRitis, Sr., 38 years old, of Absecon, passed away at home on Wed, September 17, 2014. Tommy was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School and attended Fairleigh Dickenson University. His zest for life was evident in his love for his family and friends. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing sports, playing with his dog Elvis, and spending time with his family.

Tommy is predeceased by his father Alphonso (Al) DeRitis, his grandmother Anna C. Costabile, grandfather, Thomas A. DeRitis, Uncles, Louis Costabile, James Costabile and Francis Costabile as well as his aunt, Barbara Alton. Tommy is survived by his loving mother, Mary Lou DeRitis, his daughter Gabriella DeRitis, and his son Thomas A. DeRitis, Jr. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends and family may visit 6-8PM on Monday, Sept. 22, at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201. An additional visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 9:45-10:45 AM before a funeral mass at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201. Interment will be private.
