Craig, Viola - 88, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in Camden on August 14, 1928, she was a long time resident of Ventnor. Viola worked as a waitress in several boardwalk hotels in Atlantic City during its heyday, before the casinos opened. At the age of 50, Viola went on to receive her Associates Degree at ACCC and then opened East Coast Gaming and Electronics, the first casino gaming school in Atlantic City. Viola was an avid Redskins fan and life-long Republican. She loved Bingo and playing the slot machines. She was predeceased by her husband, George B. Craig Sr., grandchildren, George B. Craig IV and Audrey Gardner. Surviving are her children, Audrey Quotidomine, June Nesterak (James), Georgina Lee, George (Leslie), Charles (Nancy); 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 27, at 11:00 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave. Absecon, with visitation from 10:00-11:00. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
