Violet P. Covello

Violet P. Covello, 89, of Absecon NJ, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2023, at her residence, Preferred Care in Absecon. She was born and raised on September 6th, 1934, in Greenwich, CT. She moved to New Jersey in 1988. Violet had great joy in dancing, singing, listening to music, baking, cooking, home parties, collecting things, and spending time with her beloved family whom she adored. Violet was predeceased by her father, Joseph S. Covello; mother, Pauline M. Nudzai; her two sons, John D. Covello McKenna and James A. Smith Covello; sister, Lillian R. Warnig; and brother, Joseph A. Covello (Irene). Violet is survived by her brother, Tommy (Barbara); sisters, Nancy, Diana and Teresa; daughters, Linda (Ted) and Congetta; grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Cheyenne (Eric), James, Brandon, Randy, Shalimar and Chanel; great-grandchildren, Mason (Paulina), Christopher, Emily, Annalise, Adriana, Aiden and Aaliyah; great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Delaney, Cassie, and Aubree; her God-daughter, Danette; and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Memorial gathering will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6PM to 7:30PM at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will begin immediately at 7:30PM.
