Virginia May Wright

Virginia M. Wright, 86, of Port Richey, Florida passed away at home March 4, 2012. A native of Absecon she also lived in Lower Bank and Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ until moving to Florida. Virginia is the great granddaughter of Capt. Elijah and Mary Price and is a direct descendent of two of our country’s Presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams.

Predeceased by her parents Harry and Amanda Conover, brother Curt Conover; her husbands, Wallace Doss, Earl Baker and Robert Wright; and her son, Jeff Baker. She is survived by her siblings Shirley Glover, Robert Conover and Barbara McHale; daughter Judith (Rodger) Creveling and sons Scott (Muriel) Baker and Gary Baker, grandchildren, David (Jenny) Gladney, Gregory Baker, Dawn Baker, Tracy (Wes) Meyers, L’Sea Baker and Joel Conver and great-grandson Jonathan Gladney.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 17th at 2 pm at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, NJ with burial immediately following at Germania Cemetery, Galloway. Doors will open for the gathering of friends and family at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPH Hospice, 121l7 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, Florida, 34667.
