Obituary For Virginia Xander Loeb
Loeb, Virginia Xander, of Absecon, NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Preferred Care at Absecon. She was 52 years old. Virginia, also known as Ginny, was born in Bethesda Maryland Naval Hospital to her parents, Marjorie Stires Loeb and the late Dr. Franklin X. Loeb. She is survived by her mother and brother, Christian X. Loeb, and numerous cousins. Ginny was a member of the Absecon Presbyterian Church. In younger years she worked various jobs through a work placement group for the disabled. She traveled to Russia with family and impressed all with her few Russian phrases she had learned to speak. Virginia loved swimming and swam like a fish. Participating in the Special Olympics was a highlight in her life. She had a love for animals, especially cats. She loved music (especially Michael Jackson) and dancing and will always be remembered bopping around to the most current tunes. Virginia was known by family and friends as energetic and always loving. She liked to give BIG hugs and always had a smile for everyone. The family would like to thank Preferred Care at Absecon for the years of care and kindness they provided Virginia. Also, thank you to Compassus Hospice for all your visits and care. Your sincerity and compassion truly helped Virginia and her family. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Parsels Funeral Home. Burial will be private and the family requests no cards or flowers.
