Walter Joseph Williams

Walter Joseph Williams, 96, of Galloway, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2021. He was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He lived in Barnegat before moving to Galloway 10 years ago. He was a Supervisor for the New York City Department of Sanitation and pursued a second career as a respiratory therapist at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was a veteran with the United States Navy, serving during World War II. In his free time, he enjoyed drinking coffee, eating sweets and spending time with his family.

Walter is predeceased by his wife, Dolores; daughter, Diane Bobe; and daughter-in-law, Roxanne Williams. He is survived by His son, Dennis; Grandson Randolph M. Bobe, his wife, Katherine and their children Brianna & Julianna; Granddaughter, Kelly Williams Maresca and her husband, Albert Jr. and their son, Aiden; and Grandson Shaun Williams.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10AM-11AM at Parsels Funeral Home – 324 New Jersey Ave Absecon, NJ 08201. A funeral mass will immediately follow at 11:30AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Church of the Assumption, 146 S. Pitney Rd Galloway, NJ 08205. A private burial will take place.
