Walter L. Valentine

Walter L. Valentine, 91, of Absecon, passed away July 13, 2021, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Atlantic City, Walt was a life-long resident of the area. He graduated from Atlantic City High School, class of 1948 and was a graduate of the University of Virginia, School of Consumer Banking. Walt had a banking career of 42 years, commencing with the Boardwalk National Bank and Retiring from Wells Fargo in 1990. He was a member, past president, national committeeman and lifetime member of the American Institute of Banking. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his many friends at the Absecon Senior Center.

Walt is predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Caryl. He’s survived by his daughters, Ellen Kamen (Daniel) and Janet Kern; and his grandchildren, Alicia and Zachary Kamen and Kimberly Kern.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11AM on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Laurel Memorial Park in Egg Harbor Township.
