Obituary For Dolores 'Dee' Cusano Schoppy
Dolores ‘Dee’ Cusano Schoppy, Of Northfield, NJ passed away on December 18th, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Weehawken, NJ. Dee graduated from Trenton State Teachers College and pursued a teaching career in physical education for 30 years at Absegami High School. She was also the proud coach of the girl’s tennis team and the advisor to the Girls Athletic Association (GAA). Dee loved the beach, traveling and skiing.
She is survived and blessed by three children, John David Schoppy (Tracy) of Canton, GA; Armand William Schoppy (Irene) of Corvallis, OR; and Melissa Maria Lagroteria (Sam) of EHT; She was the proud grandmother of her grandchildren, John David Jr, (Nikola), Samantha Lauren, James William Schoppy, Brianna Ashley, Ryan Joseph and Chase Samuel Lagroteria.
A private memorial will be scheduled at a future date. The family asks that donations in her memory be made to Dee’s favorite charity, the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 1401 Absecon Blvd. Atlantic City, NJ 08401. http://humanesocietyac.org/donate/.
