Driscoll, Jr., George Vincent, 77, of Absecon, passed away December 23, 2023. Born in Ventnor, he has lived in Absecon for several years. He previously lived in Brigantine and Frederick, MD. George graduated Holy Spirit High School, class of 1964. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard having served 6 years. George worked as a manager with Lockheed Martin at the Tech Center in Egg Harbor Twp. for 10 years. Prior to that he had a 30 year career with IBM as a project manager, both in Gaithersburg, MD and at the Tech Center. He was a member of the Brigantine Elks Lodge and the New Jersey Anglers Association. In his free-time, he enjoyed fishing and was captain of his own boat, Fluke-It. He was a founding member of the Brigantine Hockey League and was a little league baseball coach. He also enjoyed skiing. He was a fan of all the Philly sports teams. Mostly, he will be remembered as a family man. He always enjoyed having his grandchildren around, especially for pool parties.

He is predeceased by his parents, George and Florence (Fox) Driscoll, Sr. He was a loving husband, father and Poppy to his wife, Fern (Bowman) Driscoll; his children, Dan Driscoll (Nicole), Chris Driscoll (Brigid), Kyle Driscoll (Joanna), Julie Fleagle (Todd) and Jennifer Beaver; his grandchildren, Delany, Tanner, Paige, Roselyn, Christopher, Zoe, Kenzie, Lenna, Lucas (Sarah) and Hanna; and his great-grandson, Liam. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan Brothers (Steve) and Donna O’Brien.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 9AM to 10:45AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A funeral mass will be offered at 11AM. Burial will take place at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Twp. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
