Peterson, James (Jim) W. Sr., 67, of Egg Harbor Township, was called home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2024. He was born on August 20, 1956 in Atlantic City. He grew up in Ventnor City then lived in Somers Point, before moving to Egg Harbor Township. He was a well-respected general contractor in the tri-state area for over 40 years. He was a family man who was always the life of the party. Jims greatest joy and peace came in his life when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed spreading the Gospel of Christ to all. “Evangelist Jim” had a charismatic personality and a heart that was filled with the love of the Lord.
Jim is predeceased by his grandmother, Laura Bowman; his parents, James and Frances Peterson; his sister, Mary Brook; and his step-son, Joseph Lombardi.
