Condolences

As an RN at Atlanticare (Mainland), I was able to witness William offering the Eucharist to many patients, over many years. He brought a lot of comfort to the sick. I also enjoyed talking to him at church and within the Four Seasons community. My condolences to the family. David Day

Is there a way to contact Jeff who left a message above? I'd love to hear some of the stories Pop Pop shared with him about his life. Thank you.

Pop Pop always treated me very kindly and opened his home to me when I came to visit. I'll always remember him for his jokes and laughter, and playing the card game "sevens" with Mom Mom. I will miss chatting with him about work and the economy. May all the family find peace with this great loss, all the best, Steve

I remember visiting Mom Mom and Pop Pop every summer. Pop Pop always buying me buttercake, taking me to the amusements, asking if I wanted more tickets for rides and always giving me more than enough tickets! Always so giving, ready to give me anything I wanted or needed. I remember him rollerskating, way back when I was little. He liked to tell me about that memory. He also liked to tell me "I used to be a soda jerk, now I'm just a jerk!" And I'd laugh, he was telling me that joke since I was little. I had a rootbeer float last week in his honor and am grateful he is now at peace, that his body is no longer suffering. I am grateful for our weekly calls over the last 6 months or so, I will miss him very much. May all his family, Mom-Mom especially, feel peace and love in their hearts right now. Love, Ria

We Offer the Book of Memories™

Parsels Funeral Home offers what we consider to be the finest example of online memorials, the Book of Memories™. Created by an award-winning team of web developers and designers while being led by a funeral professional with over 25 years of experience, this online memorial is intended to provide your family with a permanent place to pay tribute to your loved one.

Far more than a traditional obituary—which is usually published only once and has no interactivity at all—the Book of Memories™ Memorial Website is a fully interactive archive of treasured photographs and stories remembered from their time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

You’ll be able to invite others to visit the online memorial, where they can upload images, share stories, write heart-felt messages of condolence, send a floral tribute to the funeral, or make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one. And the built-in social media integration means they can then “spread the word” about their addition to your loved one’s Book of Memories™ using Facebook and Twitter.

We offer the families we serve a Book of Memories™ memorial website with the intention that it gives you a measure of solace and comfort during the coming months. To arrange for a Book of Memories® memorial website for your loved one, contact us today.
